Meet your mediator
Kelly Ragen, JD, MSW is committed to creating accessible, meaningful, creative, affirming, and client-centered mediation spaces. She knows you are coming to mediation often with grief, frustration, pain, and above all a desire to choose a path that keeps your children and their needs as the highest priority.
Kelly decided to form Ragen Mediation, LLC in 2021 after realizing a need for high-quality and affordable family and divorce mediation services in central Illinois. Her mediation services are primarily virtual, but she does offer in-person weeknight and weekend appointments.
Prior to opening her private mediation practice, Kelly worked as a family law attorney, court-appointed mediator, and court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in central Illinois. She holds a certificate in Advanced Family Law Mediation training and has also completed her basic 40-hour mediation training.
Unlike many mediators, Kelly is educated beyond a law degree. She holds a MSW from Aurora University, and finds her education in social work immensely beneficial as she assists families through the mediation process.
Like you, Ms. Ragen is a parent. She lives in central Illinois with her husband and daughter.
